The Costume Lady in Berlin
This year they are all coming back: Kylie, Madonna, Britney, Annie and many more. But who needs Madonna if there is Roisin Murphy? The lady who likes to wear costumes is coming back with her new album Overpowered this october. And who would have thought: the album is quite fantastic. A little more appealing to the masses, way more danceable than the previous album Ruby Blue and you can totally tell that she was inspired by Disco music. We can’t even pick our favourites because all the songs sound great from the first listen. As usual the music videos and album artwork are excellent, too. Roisin is a great performer and we’re totally looking forward to see her on November 1st here in Berlin at Kesselhaus. More photos and videos after the break.
The album Overpowered is out on October 15th, the first single by the same name is already available and the follow up single Let Me Know (produced by Groove Armada) will be out on October 8th. Prelisten below.
