Kinky Tom

Tom Ford For Men

You know what’s funny about this ad? It’s for a men’s perfume. Yeah I know, we didn’t notice the bottle at first, too. It’s for Tom Ford’s new men’s fragrance which will be available at KaDeWe at the end of this month. The quite provocative photoshot was done by Terry Richardson who is known to stretch the boundries between art and pornography. A lot of magazines refused to print this ad because of it’s sexual nature. What a surprise. See some other shots from the shoot including the “male version” of the add and a photo of Tom Ford naked under the shower after the jump.

Tom Ford For Men

As mentioned, the above photos were a tiny bit too sexual for some magazines, so they used a harmless shot of Tom himself that you can see below.

Out Magazine will publish another photoshot from Terry Richardson in their november issue. It depicts Tom with some naked boxers and he get’s quite naked, too.

The last image is an internet exclusive from radar magazine that was too hot for the printed edition of Out. It’s the male version of the ad campaign.

Looking at this picture I’m wondering what the fragrance might smell like… People who already had the chance to stick their noses in it (the perfume, not the butt) described it as woody and masculine. It contains some ingredients that have never been used for a fragrance before (that is: the Nagarmotharoot from India). Sounds interesting, we’ll keep you updated as soon as KaDeWe has it.

Tom Ford is zero creative. Just a pastiche of one-upmanship in a society of feeding the animals.
