It was one of the biggest TV shows of the 90’s and definately the all time favourite of my teenager years: The X-Files. This summer we are going to meet Agent Mulder and Agent Scully again in a new X-Files movie. Since the TV show solved most of it’s mysteries with it’s highly disappointing finale in 2002 the writers decided not to go on with the mythology of the show but to create a whole new story that stands on its own. So you can’t quite call it a sequel to the first X-Files movie of 1997. I guess it is still going to be creepy.
While Gillian Anderson has not been doing so many movies since the end of the show, one of the few being the brilliant Last King of Scotland, David Duchovny was at least lucky enough to make another hit TV show by the name Californication.
