Matthias Schweighoefer and Nick Hornby read Slam
Having read almost all novels by Nick Hornby I was more than delighted to learn that there’s gonna be a live reading of his new book Slam at Admiralspalast. I was even more excited when I heard that rising German actor Matthias Schweighoefer will read the book together with Hornby himself. In the last few years I have been constantly running into Schweighoefer in the neighborhood or at Ikea, which is something I cannot say about any other celebrity. You on the other hand might know him from films such as Soloalbum, Kammerflimmern, Das Wilde Leben or Keinohrhasen. Two of his bigger movies are still in post production: Valkyrie with Tom Cruise and The Red Baron. More infos and photos of Matthias after the jump.

He used 2 be sane. He used 2 be an excellent actor. Then he found Scientology, jumped backwards on Oprahs couch and blasted Brooke Shields 4 taking prescription drugs 4 post partum depression. He used 2 be one of the greats in Hollywood now hes just ur average run of the mill nutbar.
