For everyone who can’t stand football and prefers shadows to the sun this is the perfect weekend advice: Ghosts from Henrik Ibsen at the Schaubühne Berlin. An intriguing family story and a lot of secrets are the plot of this mysterious play. The ghosts are the secrets from the past that are still alive in the walls of the antique manor. Even if the narrative is more settled the brilliant actors like Bibiana Beglau and Bruno Cathomas are able to create a great suspense. More pictures and the trailer after the jump.

    This is a very nice play indeed and Bibiana Beglau is just great. I’m sure this will be part of next season’s schedule again.

    Danke für den guten Tip. Bin eigentlich nicht so der Ibsen-Fan, hab dieses Stück aber sehr genossen, und das überraschenderweise nicht nur wegen der guten Besetzung.
