MTV Designerama 2008
When I heard that Deichkind would be this year’s music act for the MTV Designerama fashion show I was kind of sceptical. Having seen them perform live at the Melt! festival several times I totally expected them to pour paint buckets over the models and push them off the runway into the audience. And some of the designs that we saw tonight really would have deserved that. But nothing of that kind happened. Their performance was actually rather tame. Design-wise we were also a bit disappointed, we only liked Marcel Ostertag and French design duo AB-irato. Some images of the show after the jump.

also ich muss sagen ich hab da überhaupt nix anderes erwartet (und war deshalb auch nicht dort)

naja, war unser erstes mal und wir haben uns das auch vorher nie im Fernsehen angeschaut. we didn’t know any better… ich weiß nur, dass vor ein paar jahren mal goldfrapp als music act aufgetreten sind und das hätte ich mir gern angesehen.
