Sister Sing’s Good Taste

Chi Sing Berlin

We tested this fancy new Vietnamese restaurant a while ago but didn’t have the chance to write a proper review yet. So here we finally go:

The tasteful interior with its golden walls, the polygon counter and white Origami lilies hanging from the ceiling makes the Chi Sing look really expensive, but it’s not. Though a little more pricy than your average Asian around the corner all dishes are around 10 EUR which I think is quite fair considering the love to details and extravagance they put onto your plate. I had Argentinean steak with a crust of fried carrot slices. What sounds not Asian at all really had the typical Vietnamese mix of spices and flavours in it, but with a very creative and unusual note. I loved it! More photos and details after the jump.

i checked this out last night. The “fire place” idea - I loved..almost as much as the ‘Bittergourd-strawberry-cranberry-vodka cocktail’. YUMMY.. (even though it was a little too sweet for my liking). I’m def going back there!

meines wissens, ist das chi sing die “kleine schwester” von monsieur vuong (mitte, who does not know it) und sian (prenzlauer berg)
