Brasilian Moves

Brasil and dancing are two things that simply belong together. Both stand for the ecstatic and extreme body language and expression of your soul trough the surface of your body. Our European lack of body freedom is even more evident when compared to the Brasilian movements. Your eyes can enjoy all of this even more while visiting the Brasilian dance festival Brasil Move at the HAU theater. More photos and some recommendations after the jump.

I definetly recommend the Gorilla Woman, especially for the fun title that seems to be very promissing. Also, the dances from the repertoire of the Companhia de Danca da Cicade are looking quite stunning.

The dances from the repertoire where horrible horrible. We were like really shocked. Fat girls dancing around in little angel wings. Unprofessional like hell. If somebody is not sure to go this evening please don`t go.
It was a real disapointment! It`s a shame for the festival.
