In an Enchanted World

Last weekend we took a little stroll through the galleries of Berlin and found some wonderful treasures we would like to share. After falling in love with a painting of Nicoletta Ceccoli at Strychnin we came across the Merry Karnowsky Gallery, a relatively new art space at Torstraße, that currently hosts it’s first anniversary exhibition Hard Left 2 that was also part of the character walk of the Pictopia Festival. The first thing that caught my attention there was a big mural covered with a set of paintings with Blue & Joy, two characters invented by Italien artists Fabio la Fauci and Daniele Sigalot. But our favorite piece of the day was hidden in the back room: The enchanted ice bear by Camille Rose Garcia that had us coming back to that room and admire it several times.
