Parties and Guestlists

Ruede Hagelstein

Oh my, the deeper we go into the summer the more parties there seem to be on one weekend. How will we ever manage that? Okay, you just have to make a choice I guess. Or be on the guestlists…

This weekend is dominated by one big event that will go on for several days: Reisen Macht Den Kopf Frei (Traveling Makes Your Head Free) is the name of a festival at Rechenzentrum and Funkpark that will go on from Friday through Monday. Some highlights from their line-up include Aka Aka (live), Herr Suess & Herr Sauer, Ruede Hagelstein, ND Baumecker, Sven Dohse, Jens Bond and A Guy Called Gerald. Apart from the music they will also have shows, food stands, movies, camping, massages and much more. As the Rechenzentrum is located a bit outside the centre there will be a bus shuttle from Ostkreuz. More infos about the festival here. You can win free tickets for this after the jump.

More parties and free tickets after the jump.

To win 2×2 free tickets for the Reisen Macht Den Kopf Frei Festival at Rechenzentrum and Funkpark just leave a comment with a valid eMail address below. We will randomly select 2 lucky winners on Friday around noon. So please make sure to check your eMails around that time, otherwise these tickets will go to waste. (They cost 10-15 EUR btw.)

Thursday

On Thursday the new fashion store Extrafein and A+ hair salon, will celebrate its grand opening on Torstrasse 116. Robin van der Kaa will amuse you with his sets.

Friday

Halleluja, let’s marry! This is the motto of a crazy themed costumed party this Friday at L32 in Neukölln. I know for most of you marriage probably is no-go, so let’s make fun of it and get married. You can always get divorced at the end of the night! Note that you need to get one of the 500 tickets beforehand to get in. More infos here.

Raum 18 is a much talked about new party space in Neukölln. If you haven’t been you should check it out this Friday for the Slow Motion party with Alexander Robotnic and Motorcycle Boy live.

If you’re in for something gay and handsome, drop by the Handsome Disco Incident at Lorely (former Kinzo) at Alex.

Saturday

On Saturday our beloved Villa will have little closing party as they will take a break during the summer (shame!). Cerebral Vortex will celebrate their record release and Charlie Ash from New Zealand will play live!

After the exhibition and party at Stattbad Wedding was such a great success the other week there’s going to be yet another one. It’s the opening party of the Studio Sauna Bar exhibition with Nomad and the Macaronic Duo at the decks. Sexy. Check out our party pictures from last time.

The Modulor Haus at Moritzplatz will also have its last party with the Chaos Night meets Aufstieg & Fall magazine launch party. The Pet Shop Bears will take care of the music. We have 2×2 free tickets for this party for you to win. Please send an eMail to hey (ätt) iheartberlin.de (be smart!) to win until Friday around 18h.

Sunday

On Sunday I would have had the perfect occasion to finally wear my Jeremy Scott Overall at the Same Heads Sports Day open air party at the Hasenheide park. Sadly, I will be out of town, buhu!

And last but not least: The HBC and Macaronic Duo came together again to make their Sunday Seance, this time as an open air at the newsly opened Spreeterrasse near Ostbahnhof.
