Street Art in Friedrichshain

I have been living in Friedrichshain for more than 5 years now, but I never really looked at the street art that you find here. Since I bought my first DSLR, everything changed. I suddenly started to notice my neighbourhood. Thank you, Pentax! So I found out: Friedrichshain is not just the district where you can buy Sternburger Pilsener (the cheapest beer that you can get) at every bakery, it is also a district with amazing street art. More of that after the jump.
More street art can be found in this Flickr album.

howcome you “suddenly” started to notice friedrichshein’s street art? (having LIVED there for 5 years on top of it???) the whole district is about street art (and thats not news i guess, and hope) rather than some beer (plus cheap)…

@ Peter ist neu in Berlin:
das war natürlich nicht so ganz ernst gemeint…
@ m.:
Of course I noticed the street art before, but just superficially. I just passed by and never took the time to look at it carefully, taking time.

@Peter ist neu in Berlin: At no point did Jens claim that he was an “insider”, so your criticism is out of place.

I Like your photos. I try to take some too. Berlin Friedrichshain is the best place for Street Art Photos.
