Sunny Times for frostbitten Partygirls!

Who Knew

Let the summer begin, another Berlin summer of hanging around in the parks, by the lakes and at the rivers. After spending your night in a muggy club, you can cure the lack of fresh air during a deserved afterhour in the sun! Which club and where is the afterhour? Read it after the jump:

Thursday

Crazy gypsy band Gogol Bordello at Astra tonight. I’ve seen them three years ago at the Exit festival and they were awesome! 21,- fee.

Comme Ci, Comme Ca are back on the boat. Every Thursday they bring you music, barbeque, a photobooth and more on the Badeschiff!

Friday

Iceland indie rock with a concert by Who Knew and Sudden Weather Change at BangBangClub. Who Knew as a band were born in a cold unheated garage in Reykjavik but people from Reyjavik are not always as weird as Björk. Who Knew are fun as well as Sudden Weather Change are, the latter often compared to Sonic Youth!

Beaner’s Barbeque is back! Bring meat or vegetarian sausages and have a barbeque at the once legendary and now world’s craziest tourist and small-town-fashion-lovers-who-recently-moved-to-the-big-city-and-who-now-try-everything-to-appear-cool meeting point. Dresscode is gold, honey!

Fiasko-Hdgd loves Ny-Bergstübl-Party at Brunnenstraße 70 with three floors and Emil Doesn’t Drive, Daypak live, Tom Clark, Ed Davenport and more!

Tied to the 90s Eurodance, Girlie Pop, Crossover, Grunge, Britpop, HipHop & Techno Classics, Boybands and much more music from the 1990s at Astra with Sick Sinus and special guest from Mr. Ed Jumps The Gun!

Saturday

Designer Esther Perbandt and photographer Marc Schuhmann cooperate in Almstadtstr.3. What’s on? Well, some of Marc Schumann’s fashion week pics and Ester’s summer collection.

Stricken Terrasse at Jacki Terrasse next to Maria with early afternoon knitting, barbeque, lazy hammocking and evening time party probably without knitting! It’s serious, bring you knitting neeedles and learn it there..there is an indoor room, too, but it doesn’t look like rain!

Due to unexpected police intervention at the Raum18 club last weekend, the Sameheads have moved the Toe Poke party to St. Georg, Ritterstr. 26. You may expect ‘the usual array of magical people letting themselves down badly’ and performances by Anklepants live, Rob’n Zoopsie, Emil Doesn’t Drive, Dsb, Franz Underwear plus a special appearance by: The Molvanian National Football Team (erm..)!

Like every year the Villa closes for a summer break, otherwise you’d boil in the summer heat inside that old building. They therefore bring out the best in the djs of this night who are Donna Summer, Oliver Rant, Rampa, Cinthie, Astma and more as well as The Schlechtest Boy Alive, Sick Sinus and Leo Diamond in the Latrine!

Sunday

Afternoon Rooftop Opening at Weekend with reading and music, 5 Euro!
