Mind Gardens, Mutations and R/evolution

Finally there are enough events going on again in Berlin again to able to put together the weekly eventguide. The last few weeks were so empty due to the holidays. This week we are starting strong with another edition of the great new Cinéma party before it get’s very arty toward the end of the weeks with many cool exhibitions and art parties. After the jump you’ll find all the events.

Monday

Another fabulous Cinéma party at .HBC Kino with RnB, hip-hop and pop music by Glamcanyon, Elizafoxxx and Svenster. See impressions of the opening party here.

Tuesday

Sweatlodge Radio will be recording their radio show So So Disco at Maria Peligro at Skalitzer Str. 81. Guests this time Magit Cacoon & Danny Faber (Bar 25). Starts at 22h.

Wednesday

Movie night at Sing Blackbirg, Sanderstr. 11, 19:30h. This time: The Room.

Thursday

Opening of the exhibition Orbit by Dragan Prgomelja and release party of the silk screen art book Morass by Mathieu Desjardins at Bongout Gallery at Torstr. 110, 19h.

Friday

The Tape Modern celebrates its 3rd anniversary with a big new group exhibition and after party with free entry all night. It’s at Heidestr.14, 19h.

If you like crazy outfits in screaming colors you should check out the opening of the exhibition Mind Gardens, Mutations and R/evolutions at The Fab Lab, Muskauer Str. 49, 19h.

The new online magazine Honk! is having its launch party at Levee Club, Neue Promenade 10. It looks a bit like a sexy fashion magazine, but it says it’s not… There will be a photo booth with the theme Fairy Tale, so it’s time to dress up again!

Saturday

Artist collective KLUB7 curate an exhibition about the old-school graffiti element of the Backpiece, which is a piece of art on the back of a denim jacket. The artists will wear the jackets themselves, amongst them Peachbeach and Nepomuk, and the exhibition will take place during the 34th Party Arty at Ritter Butzke, Ritterstr. 24, 21h.
