B-Boy vs. Cubic-Girl

Boys against Girls – that’s a fatal combination. These two guys somehow look really cute together. Actually they could be a great couple! But now it’s all up to you to judge if colorful Julian or Leo should win the game. So be fair or be square and let your sense of style lead you through the outfit photos and vote by liking them. And don’t forget to like the iHeartBerlin page first. All the looks after the jump.

Fashionista vs. Punk-Beauty

The one looks like she has just been captured by a street style photographer during Fashion Week, while the other doesn’t even give a shit and prefers to cruise around in Kreuzberg on her bike. Which looks do you like best? Those of punk glamrock vixen Megg or of fashionista Yulia? Hop on over to their Smackdown photo album on Facebook and press “like” under your favorite outfits. Note that you have to “like” the iHeartBerlin.de Facebook page first to be able to “like” the photos. After the jump you can see all photos of Megg and Yulia in their full glory.

Long live Michael!

Last weekend Michael rose from his holy grave to celebrate his two – year – anniversary of death with the guys and girls of Last Days and Backyard, who once again decorated the rooms with a lot of love. Michael was, after Aaliyah, the second dead celeb celebrated by Last Days, but despite the sad theme, all guest seemed to have a lot of fun: people lit candles at his shrine, wrote messages for Michael in heaven and danced frenetically. See the pictures shot by Daniela Wilmer after the jump:

Andy Warhol, as you have never seen him before

Andy Warhol, Ohne Titel, 1957

There is no other artist in the second half of the 20ies century that is as popular as Andy Warhol. Some of his pictures (Marilyn, Campbell cans, Mao) became part of the collective memory, and they have been reproduced several million times. Up to this day, they appear on T-Shirts and posters, on cups and blankets.

But his enormous popularity has also led to certain saturation. You just have seen his pictures too often. Nevertheless, Andy Warhol is not all about Pop Art. There is still a lot to discover within his huge oeuvre, his early works for instance which are still widely unknown. A great selection of those early works is now shown in an exhibition at the Villa Schöningen in Potsdam.
