Certain People brings back some Underground to Berghain, oops, in form of concerts. The sound sometimes needs a bit support, what is good for a party is not necessarily good for a concert, is it. But we are gracious when they have acts like Star Slinger, Niki&The Dove and Vondelpark playing. Berghain 9pm, 16€ at box office!
Friday
Sameheads Reopening party at their store in Richardstr. with Quarion and more. It’s a fancy dress special, half price for “murderers or victims”, free before midnight, 4 Euro after. Be Mr Hyde, Jack The Ripper or Michael Jackson!
The Ballad Of AC Casey who is one part of female dj duo Tigeress, is celebrating her birthday tonight! The maneating Tigeress djs will be playing as well as the “Rock Vixen” Anette O. (Kommune 22/ Meat Market, Vienna/Magnet Club, Berlin. Starts at 10pm, come dressed as your favourite nightmare to Wowsville Bar Cafe and Record store, Ohlauer Str. 33 X Berg. Perhaps Rihanna or Taylor Swift, my personal nightmare!
Blitziblitz is on tonight, get out you 80s dress and dress up for god’s sake!
Saturday
Another Stattnacht at Wedding based Stattbad with a line-up of Berlin’s electronic finest such as straight edged Adam Port, pretty Cinthie, kinky Fresh Meat and more that clearly states that there is an ex-Villa booker involved. There will be an exhibition called More Reality by a photodesigner (what is a photo designer?) too, cause Stattbad understands itself as a place for music, art and coming together. You can do that well in the room leading to the spacy toilets or have a dance in the old pool with your current crush. Exhibition start is at 8, party at 11.30 pm!
Wheel of Fortune or Glücksrad at Ritterbutzke, the place that made it from severe underground a few years ago to severe commerce nowadays. If you’re up for some Techno disco and a very mixed variety of people, this is the place for you to go to. Pilocka Krach, Gebrüder Teicmann and a few more will be playing tonight!
Picknick Club celebrates birthday tonight, remember the good old times. Long gone and impossible to get them back? It’s you saying that. You could try at least!
Sasomo at Katerchen Holzig. Does the name of the new Bar 25, that will never be the old Bar 25, refer to your hangover and the taste in your mouth the day after? Hm.
