Localize – Suburbia plays Metropolis

Last weekend – instead of going to 48h Neukölln were my friends had a splash be getting really drunk and stealing designerchairs (true story) – I felt really avant-garde by traveling to suburbia (Potsdam) to go to a streetart/urban intervention festival called Localize taking place in a desiccated watercourse. I was not mentally prepared for the horribly long traintrip and the depressing Potsdam Hauptbahnhof by night (the Deutsche Bahn architect must have some serious personality issues going on). But after that suburbia surprised me with a little nice festival and some fun installations. Even if now getting arrested for stealing design furniture might be on my list for next year’s must-dos.
