The Weekend Party Guide

The Weekend starts with rather depressing news. Berghain threatens to close our most favourite place and tourist attraction due to the increasing Gema fees they will have to pay in 2013, involving a raise up to 200.000 / month, something they can’t or won’t afford. Of course they could raise the entry as well and every tourist would be happy paying more,  but this is rather a political decision than anything else. Now it will become obvious if the Berghain makers are still clinging to their old alternative days’ roots or if this pocket – filling project and a deserved good reputation all over the world will be continued.
