Get lost with Acid Pauli
During a DJ set by Acid Pauli, anything can happen: A pop classic from the 80s, the full version of Ravel’s Bolero, a French chanson, a forgotten song by Leonard Cohen, a Mariachi version of Hotel California, even a song by Michael Jackson might come up.
When Techno DJs try to do experiments, the result is rather horrible in most cases. With Acid Pauli, who also is a member of two of Germany’s most interesting Indie bands (Console and Notwist), it is different. In Berlin he got popular with his legendary sets at the circus of Bar 25. Since then he regularly performs in Berlin and at festivals such as the Fusion. Even though the album Get Lost V mixed by Acid Pauli is stylistically less diverse than his usual DJ sets, it features the typical, relaxed and dreamy Acid Pauli sound that is incomparable to any other Techno DJ.
The mix contains some of Acid Pauli’s own remixes and also tracks by Stimming, dOP, SIS and Dirty Doering. One particular highlight is NU’s maybe most beautiful song Man O To. After all, it is music that is not only perfect for an after hour, but for any kind of party.
