The temperatures are dropping, the snow is getting thicker and the events going on in Berlin are getting fewer. Still, there is quite a few nice things going on in the city. Kreuzberg Kalender is having 2 smaller events this week, the Salon Mindpirates is having his final week and then there is a series of Christmas-themed events toward the weekend. Tuesday, December 11

20:30h – Mobile Kino – Tonight with a screening of the 1969 classic Midnight Cowboy at Naherholung Sternchen, Berolinastr. 7.

20:30h – Kreuzberg Kalender Konzert – Two concerts by Wendy’s Taxis to Chievo and Inger Hansen at Multilayerladen, Adalbertstr. 4.

Wednesday, December 12

22:00h – Mindpirates Salon – Live concerts of Ballet School, Moon Wheel and Ornis at Schlesische str. 38.

Thursday, December 13

20:00h – Oh-Sophia’s Daily Happa #4 – Supper club with DJane, Blogger and private Cook Oh Sophia at Merkezi, Adalbertstr. 5/6. Dinner theme: Sticky fingers! Registration: ohohohsophia@googlemail.com (is neccessary).

20:00h – Skip&Die – Live concert of the South African band Skip&Die at Berghain, Am Wriezener Bahnhof.

22:00h – Haunted Disco – DJ set by Lidl Bromance (who played some amazing Hip-Hop at our 5th anniversary party) at Freudenreich, Sonnenallee 67.

Friday, December 14

19:00h – Life Is Beautiful – Artconnect Berlin is opening a solo exhibition of artist Jose Romussi in their headquarters at Boddinstr. 62. The exhibition runs until December 21st and is open daily from 12-18h.

20:00h – Rag’n Bone Man Christmas Party – The vintage boutique in Neukölln at Briesestr. 9 is having a Christmas party. Special styling and photo  sessions available for 10 EUR. Performance by Hllywd.

Saturday, December 15

11:00h – Nowkoelln Weihnachtsflowmarkt – The popular flea market from Neukölln is making a Christmas special at Umspannwerk, Ohlauerstr. 43. Open Satuday 11-20h and Sunday 10-19h.

12:00h – The WYEnachtsmarkt – Big creative Christmas market with designers, vintage and hand-made items at the WYE, Skalitzerstr. 86. Open Saturday and Sunday 12-20h.

20:00h – Sun and the Wolf – Live concerts of Sun and the Wolf, Suzies Ashes, Gunman & The Holy Ghost and Hit at Urban Spree Gallery. Revaler Str. 99.

20:00h – Schmidt’z Katzen – The design students of the HTW are exhibiting their work at the Cube Club, Rollbergstr. 26, with a big afterparty at 22h.

22:00h – Mindpirates Salon Party – Final party of the Salon Mindpirates with DJ set by Dada Disco and Sneak Thief live. Schlesische Str. 38.

23:00h – YOUNG/AND/LOST – Y&L celebrate their 6th Birthday at Berghain Kantine, Am Wriezener Bahnhof.

23:00h – Tape.tv Party – Tape at Flamingo with Rampue live. Kleine Präsidentenstr. 4a.

24:00h – Stattnacht – DJ sets by Joel Mull, Agaric, Lucy, Alex Bau, Fresh Meat at Stattbad Wedding, Gerichtstr. 65.

12:00h – Hibernation Indoor Market – Another creative market for hand-made design goods and 2nd hand clothes. Grünbergerstr. 44-48. 12-19h.

14:00h – Kreuzberg Kalender Yoga – The Kreuzberg Kalender is offering a group yoga session at Yoga School Berlin, Hasenheide 8.

18:00h – Red Wedding – Reading, food and concert at Stattbar, Stattbad Wedding, Gerichtstr. 65.

22:00h – Finissage: Der Tod Nimmt Sich Einen Tag Nach dem Anderen – The solo exhibition of Mindpirate’s mastermind Ralf Schmerberg is celebrating its closing. This is also the final event of the Salon Mindpirates. Schlesische Str. 38.
