Etsy’s (not so) Secret Santa

Etsy, the biggest online market place for hand-made design products and vintage goods, invited us and many other fellow bloggers and online publishers to take part in a very special version of secret santa. We were all assigned one famous personality that we should find a perfect Christmas present for in Etsy’s catalog of over 800.000 different shops of designers, artists and creatives from all over the world. I have to admit I love this idea and it’s fun to see what my fellow bloggers from Journelles, Jane Wayne, I Love Ponys, LesMads and Textkrieg have selected for people like Alexa Chung, Stine Goya, Henrik Vibskov, Carine Roitfeld and Alfons Schuhbeck.

My famous personality is Sven Marquardt, the charismatic doorman of the Berghain. It was quite a challenge to find a suitable gift for him. But you would be surprised about the variety of products that you can find on Etsy, it’s definately more than you would expect. Along the way I actually found numerous Christmas gift ideas for my friends and family which is quite practical as it saves me the way through the snow to do the usual Christmas shopping. Have a look what creative gifts my fellow bloggers have found for their famous counterparts. Too see what I have found for Sven Marquardt check out the Etsy Tumblr.
