Win iHeartBerlin Xmas Package #2!
Today you will get the chance to win our second Christmas package of this year. It once again contains one of our scarves and a red K-MB x Uslu Airlines lipstip. As a special treat we also included the Robert Montgomery monography Echoes of Voices in the High Towers by mono.kultur. This special package is the first comprehensive publication of the work of the British artist and includes 3 seperate booklets. Referencing the scale of his public interventions, all images are presented in full colour in a momentous A2 format, folding out to A1. In Berlin Mitte, nahe des Bundestages, steht auf einer Baustelle ein Weihnachtsbaum aus Beton: http://instagram.com/p/TY2HhwRaeo/ Ich fand es zunächst irritierend, dann irgendwie entzückend, die Baustelle damit so zu dekorieren. Advent in Berlin
Auf einem Weihnachtsmarkt der Hauptstadt
einer vergangenen Republik,
an die er viel zu lang geglaubt hat,
steht ein betrunkener Bolschewik.
Rechts hält er seine Papirossi,
links eine Flasche Alkohol.
Egal, ob Wessi oder Ossi:
„Zum Wohl“, grüßt er, „zum Grotewohl!“
Seit Stunden singt er immer wieder –
und schwankt dabei von Stand zu Stand –
dieselben alten Weihnachtslieder,
die Flasche in der schweren Hand.
Singt jedes Lied aus voller Kehle,
als wären die anderen gar nicht da,
aus Leibeskraft, mit ganzer Seele:
„O Tannenbaum, halleluja!“
Bald denkt er nicht mehr an die Sorgen
und Nöte aus der letzten Zeit.
Schön ist das Leben – was ist morgen?
Ach, morgen ist ja noch so weit.
Kein Hut wärmt seinen Kopf, den kahlen.
Durch seine Jacke pfeift der Wind.
Doch seine klaren Augen strahlen
und leuchten wie bei einem Kind.
Berlin bleibt stehen und hört ihm zu.
Und irgendwo ruft einer: „Du,

weihnachten liegt in der luft und die geschenke rufen
iheartberlin weiss was gefällt und wir alle hier fluchen
wollen doch dieses tolle paket und uns daran erfreuen
und alle chancen nutzen damit es nix gibt zu bereuen
ein toller schal im kalten winter um meinen hals gebunden
schnell noch roten lippenstift aufgetragen den ich hab im schrank gefunden
ein fixer blick auf die goldene uhr um meinem handgelenk
oh ist es schon so spät??? husch husch in die hand nehm ich ein geschenk
und mach mich in windeseile auf nach berlin
so gestyled zur weihnachtszeit..richtig feminin
wunderbar..noch vier mal schlafen und dann ist weihnachten
ein tag an dem wir alle uns auf das essen und die famile freuen und danach schmachten!!!
