Andreas is one of four beard models a friend of mine (being my designated beard agent) sent to me. He’s actually somewhat of a real nature-boy. I like taking pictures of beards with natural materials – the effect of plants and similar items around the face is the most beautiful I think. My mother got me the little garden gnomes that she found in a small deco store. By now she keeps her eyes open for all kinds of little objects that could pretty in a beard. In the end it’s quite good to have such lovely (little) helpers. More of the results and Andrea’s monologue after the jump.
I’m wearing a beard since it is possible for me to have one. Actually I can remember having my first real whiskers with 16 and looking forward to growing a real beard. Obviously I never wanted to have a baby face, and the beard definitely gives you a more masculine look. Accordingly I would recommend Justin Bieber to grow a beard, haha.
Also Joseph Gordon-Levitt, whom is known more for his three-day beard. I think, a real beard really suits him.
On the other hand Pola Roy from the band “Wir sind Helden” might want to pay a little more attention to his beard these days. Even a full beard has to be taken care of and be trimmed every few days in order to stay in shape. Actually soap and conditioner can work miracles.
I was glad to have my beard when I met a girl at a club the other night. As she said good bye she whispered in my ear how much she liked my beard and that she hoped to see it again the next time she would come to Berlin.
