Berlin is supposed to be the capital of electronic music. However, some of the most interesting German DJs and producers are actually not based in Berlin, but in Hamburg. I am of course talking about the Diynamic crew, about artists such as Solomun, H.O.S.H., Stimming, Kollektiv Turmstrasse and David August. All of them will be playing at the Watergate Open Air next Saturday. If you have ever seen Solomon or Kollektiv Turmstrasse live, you know that this is a party not to be missed. We are giving away two tickets after the jump.
The open air takes place at Rummelsburg on Saturday (June 22) from 12pm to 10pm. Check out the Facebook event page for the whole line-up.
To win, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and tell me your personal summer hit – and be brave, it does not have to be a track by a Diynamic artist. The sweepstakes ends on 21 June at 5 pm.
The Diynamic party is the first of four open air events that the Watergate hosts this summer at Rummelsburg. On 14 July, there is “Watergate meets Circoloco” with Maceo Plex, The Martinez Brothers, dOP and others. The following party on 11 August presents artists of the Innervisions label such as Dixon, Âme and Henrik Schwarz. The last event of the season is a collaboration with Minus, featuring Richie Hawtin among others.
