4 Film Highlights For Sunday Night

The film industry certainly knows what they are doing. In the Summer no great films hit the screens because everyone is out and about anyway. But in Fall when it gets colder and icky outside, so many fabulous pieces come to the cinemas it’s tough to keep up. Thus I thought it’s time for another trailerfest!

Blue Jasmin

As you know Woody Allen is no guarantee for a good film in my eyes. However Cate Blanchett and Sally Hawkins, who play the leads in his latest film, are. So it could actually be something pretty great and I am looking forward to Thursday. Blue Jasmin is in the cinemas starting November 7.

Young & Beautiful

French superstar director Francois Ozon is also delivering his latest work toward the end of the year. Critics were obsessed with the gorgeous Marine Vacth, who plays the lead in this film during the Cannes festival this Spring. Now we can finally get to know Ozon’s discovery as well. In cinemas November 14.

Blue is the warmest Color

The winner from this year’s Festival du Cannes took its time on the way onto the big screen but now it’s finally here. I haven’t heard one single bad word about it so I can’t wait to see it. It hits the screens just before Christmas on December 19.

Only Lovers Left Alive

What a perfect Christmas gift! Art house master Jim Jarmusch and my very favourite Tilda Swinton paired up for a horror film. Hell yes! In cinemas from December 25.
