Workshop: Berlin Spring Taste

The incredible Berlin food designer Kristiane Kegelmann is offering this workshop for all interested to discover the tastes and experiences that can be associated with the spring in Berlin. For Kegelmann herself, this would be fresh wet grass, flower buds, red currants and the joy of riding a bike. The workshop will be focused on chocolate pralines, their various fillings, and how the two come together.

Bookbinding Workshop

This is a great opportunity for all fans of personalised stationary: during this workshop, you can create your own notebook with a coptic stitch. You will be provided with a election of materials for your cover, papers and threads for you to make a book that is uniquely yours. The coptic bookbinding stitch binds the front and back covers to the inside pages using a special curved bookbinding needle.

Voguing Workshop Mother Leo Melody

Dust off your dancing shoes this spring season and try out techniques like Voguing, New Way, Old Way and Vogue Fem. The workshop, led by the dancer Mother Leo Melody, is open to beginners as well. The whole schedule includes two workshops: Vogue Fem (15:00 – 16:30) and Old Way & New Way Elements (16:30 – 18:00) followed by a Voguing Session.

We’re especially glad to announce this particular workshop that’s taking place in the Kreuzberg’s Blogfabrik, a coworkingspace that iHeartBerlin is a proud member of. Don’t be scared if you don’t have previous VJing experience; the workshop is accessible to all levels. It was designed for students (visual art, design, photography) and audiovisual artists who are interested in gaining practical VJing audiovisual language experiences. The workshop is led by visual artist Lucas Gutierrez who is also part of the Blogfabrik collective. You need to come with your own Macbook.
