In a city of freelancers that take their home office very seriously and party people that are way too busy to squeeze in an appointment with their bed in their tight weekend schedule, sleep is a scarce, but very highly regarded commodity. If you’re like me, and you regard the time spent in bed as key to keep your creative juices flowing, you have to check out the upcoming Berlin Art Week events hosted by the lifestyle brand JUNIQE and Internet’s favorite mattress manufacturer Casper.
The exhibition Everybody Dreams curated by JUNIQE and Casper is literally a dream come true. Eight dreams, to be precise. In order to create it, fans of both brands submitted their dreams online and then a team of eight talented artists singled out their inspirations. You may be familiar with them through their work showcased on JUNIQE, the online store for affordable design and art, where you’ll also be able to purchase the collection after the exhibition.
But the upcoming events are more than just admiring the visuals – from 13th to 17th September in Torstraße 161, you’ll also have the chance to check out for yourself the internet’s most recent bedroom sensation – the Casper mattress. Apart from relaxing on its smooth surface and enjoying the dreamy artworks, you can take part in several cool events.
You can choose from a bunch of different occasions, all centering around appreciation for design and the quality of sleep. There’s a talk about healthy sleeping habits, bedtime stories with Susan Atwell, some bedroom styling tips, and if you can’t resist to take a little nap – even a slumber cinema.
