Love? Cupcakes!

To the misfortune of our hips this store is right next to our house. So everytime we leave or come home we have to pass by these little sinners. And they are hard to resist. I’m talking about cupcakes - made and served by this lovely lady (photo on the left). They have them in a variety of flavors from chocolate to coconut, carrot and vanilla with all sorts of toppings. Delicious! They even have vegan ones. In their charming little shop they serve not only cupcakes but also coffee and breakfast along with a selection of american drinks and sweets like Oreos and Pop-Tarts.
We heart cupcakes! More infos and pictures after the jump!

The store is located in Friedrichshain, Krossener Str. 12 close to the famous Simon-Dach-Straße. It’s open Wednesday through Sunday from 11am to 7pm.

I heard that Katie Holmes was shopping in our cupcake store!!! Really everybody loves them.

It’s true, Katie Holmes and her baby Suri came to the store last weekend and ate cupcakes while bodyguards were waiting outside on the street. They have ordered cupcakes to the set of Filmpark Babelsberg in the past, too. So it’s very probable that Tom Cruise actually ate them, too.

I used this blog iheartberlin as a tourist guide in Berlin last week and this cupcake shop was one of the treasures we discovered. Neat, simple interior set up, damn good coffee and delideli cakes!

Came to grab a cupcake or two with my parents about two weeks ago. I was really excited and must agree with my fellow commentators, the cupcakes are delicious. Sad though, that they only had two to choose from (even though we came at a reasonable time thinking that there should be more.)
Also, this place seems to be a nice little gathering spot for the English-speaking community. For those that are not too familiar with this language, you may feel a bit out of place. Problem though for those that do understand it and well, do understand too well, you do have to take their comments about customers, etc.
Overall, I am great lover of the area this little store is located. You will find lots of little cafes, art stores, and everything else considered eye candy. So, a must go. And do not forget to take you insulin shot. After one cupcake and a root beer float you’ll need it.
