Dieses Wochenende findet schon wieder eine große Aktion im Stattbad Wedding statt, und zwar das Save Berlin Fest, welches die Rettung Berlins vor dem Kapitalismus auf der Fahne zu stehen hat. Was für ein Vorhaben.

Das Programm enthält unter anderem einen großen Bazaar (soviel zum Thema Kapitalisumus…) mit Jungdesignern und Second-Hand Ständen, Ausstellungen, Performances, Filmvorführungen, Parties, Konzerte, einen Sonntagsbrunch und eine Cabaret Show. Alles mit kleinen Perlen der Berliner Subkultur. Schaut einfach mal vorbei. Die Details nach dem Klick.

    its your fancy dresscode shit which is making people buying and buying. the city leaders are just listen to the people and trying to get more opportunieties for people like us and tourists. but the tragedy of it is that we dont understand that we are also a reason why the old berlin is disappearing. fancy people are moving to prenzlauer berg, kreuzberg and friedrichshain. they are bying and restaurating the old houses and banishing the habitants! and who are new berliners? The people who are arriving today and not 1-3 years before?? are the new visionary schemes for Berlin to open more and more new design shops so that others are closing? brave new old world with new names.

    Well save, maybe you should stop the bashing. Always the same old stuff…gentrification bla bla. The only point I agree that a fleemarket with overprized vintage and designer stuff is not really going to save Berlin. It will just serve the needs of a specific part.

    Maybe an article would be interesting what was the outcome of this festival (and i dont mean the presentation of the clothes that were bought there). Which ideas where represented and which long-term-solutions? But I guess that is not enough sexy ;) ….
