Taste Festival Berlin

Nach der großen, allerdings geschlossenen Eröffnungsveranstaltung werden ab morgen endlich auch für die Öffentlichkeit die Türen des ersten Taste Festival geöffnet. Bis zum 10. Juni gibt es im Direktorenhaus Dinner Events, Konzerte, Performances, Filmvorführungen, eine große Ausstellung und vieles mehr, alles im Namen von Geschmack, Essen und Design. Nach dem Klick haben wir euch ein paar Highlights rausgesucht und mit ein paar visuellen Appetitanregern aufbereitet.

Telse Bus – “Eat the beat and dance the flavor”
Berlin-based food designer Telse Bus is hosting a special Eat Art Performance on Saturday, June 2nd. She wants to bring together the element of music with the social experience of eating together.

Ayako Suwa – Food Creation
The Japanese food artist is having a dinner performance that is all about the experience of taste, not about actual eating. Her concepts are quite artistic and experimental, definately stunning to look at and surely also to taste! Takes place on Saturday June 2nd, Thursday June 7th, Saturday June 9th and Sunday June 10th at 20h only by registration.

The Berlin Coffee Society
The BCS is a circle of the five coffee shops Bonanza Coffee, Cafe CK, Doubleeye, Five Elephant, Godshot and No Fire No Glory. They will have a talk about the forgotten taste and quality potentiels of coffee and will also have some special coffee free for tasting on Friday June 8th at 17-19h.

Hara Katsiki
Visual artist Hara Katsiki is participating in the exhibition of the Taste Festival witha series of new artworks including a brand new porcelain set, drawings, a sculpture and a very special costume in cooperation with fashion designer Tatachristiane. The exhibition is open June 2-10 from 11-19h.
