Alanis Morissette’s Guardian Video gedreht in Berlin
Ich bin ja schon seit einer halben Ewigkeit großer Fan von Alanis Morissette. Ihre Musik ist mit den Jahren zwar sehr glatt geworden, aber ihre Konzerte sind immernoch ein Knaller. Zu schade, dass ich das letzte in Berlin vor zwei Wochen total verpennt habe.
Heute ist dafür das neue Video zur Single Guardian erschienen, welches sie kürzlich hier in Berlin gedreht hat. Angelehnt ist das Video an den Film Himmel über Berlin von Wim Wenders aus dem Jahre 1987. Kein Wunder, dass die Gute auf diese Idee gekommen ist, immerhin hat sie den berühmten Titel Song Uninvited für das amerikanische Remake City of Angels von ’98 geschrieben. Ihr neues Album Havoc And Bright Lights erscheitn am 24. August 2012. Das Guardian Video gibt es nach dem Klick.

not too psyched about this particular song either to be perfectly honest. I tried to get into it, but it’s just too compliant for my taste. let’s hope the album has a bit more edge.

It’s the cheesiest thing I’ve ever seen and heard. And does it really take SO MANY guitars to play this song? You can barely hear them ^^ 8 Easy Steps was hard rock compared to this.

I didn´t know that AM is still doing music. Haven´t heard from her for a long long time. I don´t really like the new song, but I like the “quotes” to Wim Wenders.
