This week we have a couple of interesting readings (in German though), concerts by Digitalism and Heatstick, some promissing urban art exhibitions and the birthday Blitz party. This and much more after the jump.

Monday, Nov. 7

The Vierte Welt is having a (German) reading of the theater piece Baumschatten at 19h followed by the one year anniverary party of the place with DJ Obstsalat at 21h. Adalbertstr. 96. Find out more and the exact location (a bit hidden) here.

Tuesday, Nov. 8

Digitalism are playing live at Astra, Revalerstr. 96 at 21h.

Wednesday, Nov. 9

KOOK is presenting young German literature on four dates in November and December at Lettrétage, Methfesselstraße 23–25Methfesselstraße 23–25. They start with a reading of Thomas Pletzinger and Paula Fürstenberg. Begins at 19:30h, in German.

Mono.Kultur Magazine is presenting another Mono.Klub party at L.U.X. with a DJ set by CANT (Chris Tailor from Grizzly Bear). The entrance fee includes the latest issue of the magazine. Schlesische Str. 41, 22h.

Today at Shade at Flamingo: Heatstick live and Mo Probs DJ set. Kleine Präsidentenstraße opposite Monbijouplatz. 23:30h.

Thursday, Nov. 10

Berlin-based designer Dawid Tomaszewski is presenting his new knitwear collection at f.rau at Gormanstr. 7, 18h.

Movie night at Sing Blackbird, Sanderstr. 11, tonight with Dead Man by Jim Jarmusch starring Johnny Depp. Starts at 20:30h.

Friday, Nov. 11

Cap label New Era is presenting the amazing results of their international creative challenge Introducing at the DNA Gallery at Auguststr. 20. The exhibition of the best cap designs will be open to the public on Friday and Saturday from 11-18h.

Strychnin Gallery at Boxhagener Str. 36 is opening their new group show Storytellers with the art of Benjamin Vierling, Marcus Poston, Raf Veulemans and Saturno Butto. Opening reception starts at 19h, the exhibition runs until December 18th 2011.

The Ballhaus Ost at Pappelallee 15 presents the exhibition ON with photography by Johi van Bruises and a crazy performance and sculpture by Leon von Pullerhaun. Vernissage starts at 20h, performance 21h, the party with DJ Mr. Ties. Exhibition runs until November 18th 2011.

Hamburg-based queer magazine Hugs and Kisses is celebrating the launch of their 8th issue at Edelweiß, Görlitzerstr. 1-3, starting at 23h with DJs Dadatek and Metzgerei.

Wow, it’s been one phantastic year with the Blitz party that we have visited and photographed many times. For their birthday edition they will take over the Berghain Kantine, Am Wriezener Bahnhof, starting at 23h.

Saturday, Nov. 12

The Backyard is opening their new street art exhibition It wasn’t Artschool with art by Sam Crew, Tahnee and Dariuz Voltra. Vernissage starts 21h afterparty at 23h with Platz der Freiheit und Herr Stepke. Gitschiner Str. 22.

Nomad is curating another Art Fair exhibtion, this time with the dead leaves of the fall. He asked a whole bunch of Berlin creatives, amongst them our designer favorite Esther Perbandt, as well as photographer Oliver Rath, Florian Kolmer, 44 Flavors and many more. Everyone of them can only use dead leaves for their artwork. Vernissage starts at 22h at ktv, Chausseestr. 36, with an afterparty later on.

Mindpirates invite you to the Devine Horsemen Benefit party for the project A Book About which is part of the ghetto Biennale in Haiti. There will be film screenings, DIY-voodoo and chess battles, live music by Roxymore and Skirt, DJs and much more. Starts at 21h, Schlesische Str. 38, third backyard.
