It’s Halloween this week and everybody is talking about what costume they will be wearing. Shame it’s right in the middle of the week, so a few parties have actually moved to the weekend. But still there is loads of scary stuff going on this Wednesday! This and other events after the jump.

Monday, October 29

Merkezi Movie Nights with film screening of Last Tango in Paris and small free dinner (donations welcome). 19h, Adalbertstr. 5/6.

Tuesday, October 30

The In-Edit Festival about music documentaries is kicking off today with screenings at multiple venues until November 4th 2012. The program here.

Mobile Kino screens Something From Nothing- The Art of Rap directed by Ice-T at Naherholung Sternchen, Berolinastr. 7, 20:30h.

M83 are playing at Astra, Revalerstr. 99, with support by Berlin Festival discovery Tomfoolery. Starts 21h.

Wednesday, October 31

It’s Halloween!! All you suckers who make their Halloween parties on another day will rot in hell, because the ghosts will walk in the night of the 31st of October and not when it’s more convinient to you! muahahahaha!!!

Get your perfect Halloween Make-Up at Veist, Selchower Str. 32 in Neukölln. You can book your appointment from 14-20h at hallo@veistberlin.com. Will cost around 10 EUR depending on how elaborate you want it. They will also have masks and costumes for sale.

The HomeBase Project at Thulestr. 54 is having a Haunted House in their art space before they start their new residency program. All rooms will be transformed into one nightmare worse than the other. From 19h til all guests are dead.

Merkezi‘s Family Times Halloween Style with a veggitarian Afro-Peruvian (free) dinner menu at Adalbertstr. 5/6, 19h. Music by Tdaance.

The Mindpirates host a Halloween Film Night at Schlesische Str. 38 at 20h.

The Drop Dead Festival for dark music is kicking off it’s 10th edition with a big Halloween Party at Cube, Rollbergstr. 26 in Neukölln starting at 20h. There is going to be a Macabre Art Show and the Mindpirates will have a special immersive installation at the festival opening around 23h. Scary, scary! The festival will go on until November 5th and the Mindpirates installation will be open every day from 23h-1h at night.

For the Danza Macabra Berlin-based fashion designers Tata Christiane and Julian West (Moga e Mago) will introduce a collaborative fashion installation at The Wye, Skalitzer Strasse 86, between 21h and midnight.

The BerMuDa Festival, which is happening this weekend at Tempelhof Airport, is presenting the record release party and live gig of Metope at Festsaal Kreuzberg, Skalitzerstr. 130 at 23h.

Thursday, November 1

The HAU – Hebbel am Ufer theatre has a new creative director and is opening their new saison today until Sunday with a special opening program starting each day at 19h at all 3 houses. I’m sure all have seen the animal photo campaign with the cute foxes, monkeys, panthers and so on? Awesome!

The gay night at King SizeSpank the Monkey – goes into it’s second round at Friedrichstr. 112b at 21h with a Gay Horror Edition. Partyboy Bronson awaits your ass for a good old spanking.

Pieces of Berlin is opening their new exhibition Nacht & Nebel 2012 at Artconnect Berlin HQ, Boddinstr. 62 at 21h.

Hot Chip are playing at Columbiahalle at 19h. BerMuDa presents The Grand Aftershow party at Horst Krzbrg with DJ sets by Hot Chip, Greco Romain Soundsystem and Booji Boy live. Starts at 22h, Tempelhofer Ufer 1.

Certain People at Berghain with Dirty Projectors, Callers and Ballet School live. Am Wriezener Bahnhof, 21h.

Flamingoween with Casio & Anto at Flamingo, Kleine Präsidentenstr. 4a, 22h.

The Crystal Arc are celebrating their album release at Berghain Kantine. They will be DJing and so will Planningtorock. Am Wriezener Bahnhof, 24h.

Friday, November 2

Zukunft at Ostkreuz, Laskauerstr. 5 is opening the double photo exhibition One Night with Evelin / Pieces of Berlin by Antony Sojka and Florian Fleischauer at 20h.

Studio Cherie at Hobrechtstr. 66 opens the photo exhibition Lust, Crisis and Sensual Delight by Thomas Gosset at 18h with an afterparty at 20h.

The Borckendorff Klanglabor is celebrating their record release with a concert at about blank, Markgrafendamm 24c at 20:30h. Support by UHOH (live).

Rodeo plays live at Michelberger Hotel, Warschauerstr. 39, free entrance at 22h.

Saturday, November 3

Another Blackbird Fleamarket at Sing Blackbird, Sanderstr. 11, 12-18h.

New Berlin fashion label CABB celebrates their Launch at Chalet with drinks and DJs. Vor dem Schlesischen Tor 3, 19:30h.
