Friede, Freude, Eierkuchen – The German Pancake Club

If you’re up for yummie German cuisine and want to try out the sweet sin named Eierkuchen, a usually sweet dish we Germans eat during our childhood and beyond, we can recommend you a new food project called Friede, Freude und Eierkuchen that launches this Thursday at Vögelchen Bar in Kreuzberg. Find out more about tasty “Eierkuchen” that will be served in every possible variation and can be prepared salty or sweet after the jump.

You could compare it with crepes, yes they are some sort of crepes, but honestly, they are so much better, our Eierkuchen! They will make your heart sing and definetely fill your empty stomach. For the launch on Thursday they serve you Eierkuchen with maroccan flavour and goat cheese.  Of course there is a sweet version for the youngsters as well. Sounds great to us. The launch starts at 18h this Thursday and from then on it’s “Eierkuchenday” every Thursday and Friday of the week from 12-17h. Find the Facebook event here. By the way: when you argue with someone and finally make peace, you can use the sentence “Friede, Freude, Eierkuchen”, it means peace, basically.
