Hurrah! Spring has sprung! And you know what this means: Outdoor locations are becoming a thing again!
No more standing under heating lamps, clutching to your thick coats. The last fluff of your scarves is scaling off your necks and many heads turn to other people again. With rising degrees, the core areas of the capital shift from the inside to the outside.
Berlin awakens in Spring. And along with it the people, the cafes, restaurants, urban parks, and festivals are returning from their winter hideout. How we’ve missed the many opportunities to enjoy life under the clear sky. With Spring, all these possibilities are back!
And even better, we compiled a list of activities and locations that are back from winter hiatus and open again for you to enjoy. See them right after the jump.

Open Air Season Openings
These great open-air locations are finally opening up for the spring/summer season again:
Klunkerkranich: From the end of April open daily at 12h, the program starts at 4 pm.
Haubentaucher: Outdoor area re-opens in May.
Badeschiff: The pool is ready again on May 1st!
Cafe am neuen See: Whenever it’s warm, the Biergarten is already open.
Hafenküche/Hafenkante: Starting at the end of April. When it’s warm, the Biergarten is open.
Open Air Cinema: Opens in Kreuzberg: May 4, Friedrichshain: May 15, Rehberge: May 17.
Biergarten at Urban Spree: Biergarten re-opens on April 6th, at 2pm!
Birgit&Bier: Season opening on March 23, 2019.
Holzmarkt Pampa: Opens up again in April.
Wilder Hase im Nirgendwo: Opens in May.

Himmelbeet Wedding The café and garden will be open again from April 13th, 2019.
Tulipan in Britzer Garten Starts at the end of April or the beginning of May.

Spring Rituals
Here’s what else is going on in spring:
Tanz in den Mai / Walpurgisnacht: On April 30th many Clubs and cultural centers in Berlin offer parties in honor of the traditional feast.
1st of May: On May 1st the famous Myfest is taking place in the streets of Kreuzberg! Make sure to join the fun!
The Gallery Weekend: from April 26th to 28th the Gallery Weekend will turn Berlin into an art mecca!
