Last week the annual Sparkle Army party exploded for the fourth time at Monster Ronson’s. Femme fatal Jackee Word once again swung her barely covered ass around the dancing pole and Peaches made surprise appearance during the Sparkle outfit contest. Enjoy the photos and animations after the jump.

Total Eclipse of Goodbye – Karaoke Night with Peaches

Total Eclipse of Goodbye – Karaoke Night with Peaches

Since last Saturday I am totally hooked on Karaoke. Matthias Lilienthal, artistic director of the HAU theater celebrated his goodbye party with sexy rockstar grandma Peaches. She didn’t just perfome some great songs herself but also hosted an amazing karaoke night. The whole audience sang and danced and somewhere between Total Eclipse of the Heart, Rolling in the Deep, 99 Luftballons and I will Survive I got quite emotional. Not so sure if it was because of the 16 year old Turkish girl wearing a head rag performing Adele’s no. 1 hit like a champ or because of the collective experience of 800 people singing (or let’s say screaming)  all together I will Survive. Definetly a night to remeber. Photos of the night after the jump.

Shade Inc. Re-Opening at Flamingo Photos

Shade Re-Opening at Flamingo

This past Wednesday the weekly Shade Inc. party, formerly located at NBI, has found a new home at the pretty Flamingo. I totally prefer this new venue over the last one and I hope the party will settle in nicely into its new district Mitte. For the re-opening party they invited Dillon and Go Chic (produced by Peaches) to play live. The first one I sadly missed because the room was already too full, when I arrived. But for second band I managed to get up-front and enjoyed those cheaky punk girls from Taiwan a lot! The impressions including some animations after the jump on 2 pages.

Peaches by Luke Austin

Just one more week until the summer finally arrives in Berlin. Yes, next weekend is supposedly the end of the rainy cold summer in Berlin. Let’s hope that this forcast stays true! Until then we have quite a few things to keep us busy, including a festival about our future and sustainability, a 90s themed party (how new!), an exhibition of Berghain employees and another Weekday shop opening. This and much more after the jump.

Peaches G. at Last Days this Saturday

Peaches does herself in the mud

Peaches does herself again. And this time not only in the theater. If you are not intruiged by a great musical perfomance with creatures from another planet and a strip legend from the last century showing her tits you might at least go easy and just enjoy her new music video. Everybody else who feels hardcore enough for this kind of amazing bullshit should definetly try to get their hands on one of the tickets for the upcoming shows at HAU this week. The new music video, some pictures of the show and the dates after the jump.
