Last Friday Lia and her girls celebrated the release of this year’s KreuzbergKalender at Sameheads. The girls were excited that so many fans of their hand-made calendar project came by – it was a super-fun party. Enjoy the impressions after the jump on 2 pages.
While I will be on a luxurious trip with my travelholic friend Katja in Kitzbühel this week you will have the city all to yourself. And so you don’t get bored there are once again tons of interesting events and parties going on. Check out our recommendations after the jump.
The week there are three events happening on the weekend that we are involved in: On Friday our movie girl Lia celebrates the opening party of her Kreuzberg Kalender project, on Saturday I will be a guest speaker at the Networking Brunch of Artconnect Berlin and on Sunday VisitSweden will release a book about Stockholm and Gothenburg where Claudio contributed some photos and texts. There are also some exciting fashion events going on during the week. Check out the events after the jump.
This week we have two very special events taking place on the weekend (sadly almost at the same time). Firstly, it’s the opening of the new awesome space +-0 which is run by the guys who used to make the HBC for many years. I was in their at the inofficial preview and it’s quite stunning. iHeartBerlin is gonna be part of the Human Zoo performance with a special GIF installation taking place down in the basement at the after party. Secondly, one of our most beloved fellow bloggers Jessie is returning into the online world with her new awesome website Journelles and celebrating the launch at Picknick. This and many more events
OMG everybody is outside. Is it really only March? Let’s all go to a lake and the open air season has started too. Poor working people or even studying, what a waste of time!!! They’re all preparing their bycicles, the streets will be flooded once again with people who never really learned how to ride a bike. But in Berlin, they say, everything is possible. Iam a supporter of helmets, not the ones that make you look like the alien from the film Alien but a biker helmet or a snowboard helmet, what about that? No? Yeah, whateva. Parties from Thursday to Tuesday and how to win tickets after the jump:
Tights: into the bin, warm socks: back into the draw, leggings worn as long undies: oh please, scarf: pah, fur: you really did wear fur, I don’t care if it’s your granny’s fur, it is the dead body of an animal. Boys: long undies, pathetic, get them off immediately! To win tickets for the Shambo Party and for White Trash check out our Facebook Fanpage from time to time. Springtime parties after the jump:
The pope is coming. Beware if you’re a fag, a user of preservatives or even an atheist. Child molester might be okay though..(oops). The party dinner is served ladies and gents, with a sip of Lido, a piece of Loftus Hall, a twist of Backyard, a gulp of The Sameheads, a mouthful of Kater Holzig and much more to get one’s just desert! It’s sticky and hot and we won’t find sleep in the heat of the night. Oh and it’s full moon as well, ahh, that is why I practically spend the night staring at the ceiling. Perfect party conditions I’d say. Who needs sleep anyway? Parties after the jump:
Kinky we are this weekend. Springbreak in Berlin, everybody’s free. Take the clothes off, get rid of wool jackets and socks and enjoy the exciting nights that follow a mild day. Party recommendations as ususal after the jump:
