It’s funny how I just had a couple of conversations about my trip to Japan in 2008 on the weekend and now when I started to make my research for the new event guide stumbled about this interesting exhibtion about a new Tokyo after the disaster. I realise it’s getting harder and harder to find suitable titles for our weekly event guides. There is not really always one theme for each week. So I might just call the whole thing “weekly event guide” and be done with it, haha… So, what do we have on this weeks agenda? We have the Strickenbar, a new beer garden by Picknick, an exhibition by artist Dean Rosenzweig, an experimental evening about food, a book release party and a new type of convention. This week you shall not be surprised to see a lot of cute little monsters and quirky characters. No, it’s not the invasion of the new Pokémons, it’s the Pictoplasma Festival that brings a bunch of artists and illustrators to town that have specialized in character design. Mind Gardens, Mutations and R/evolution
Finally there are enough events going on again in Berlin again to able to put together the weekly eventguide. The last few weeks were so empty due to the holidays. This week we are starting strong with another edition of the great new Cinéma party before it get’s very arty toward the end of the weeks with many cool exhibitions and art parties.
