In the Hip Hop and R’n’B genre we also have a few familiar faces coming back this year. One being Missy Elliott who is working on a new album that will most likely come out in May. She just released a brand new song as part of the soundtrack for the movie Step Up 2 which is called Ching-A-Ling. To find out who else will put out new music in 2008 look right after the jump.
In February actor and rapper LL Cool J will release his new record “Exit 13”. In Spring we will get a new album by Pharell Williams band N.E.R.D. which will be called N.3.R.D. (well, how do you pronounce that?), followed by “The Mirror” by JaRule. Fat Joe will release a new record with the ironic title The Elephant In Room (him?).
On the lady side of things we can expect something new from Foxy Brown as well as from Eve who is expected to release her album Here I Am, which was actually already scheduled for last year.
And last but not least you can all look forward too a new release from the Black Eyed Peas later this year which will go by the name The E.N.D.
