Last night we attended the defilee of Guido Maria Kretschmer’s first collection of evening gowns and were quite impressed by some of his dresses. It was a wild mix of styles and colors, from minimalistic to opulent, from black to purple. Every dress was accentuated with an extravagant head piece by Zussa, which we liked a lot. The audience seemed to be especially enthused by the famouses wearing the dresses on the runway, including Juliane Köhler, Anna und Katharina Thalbach und Hana Nitsche (above). You might know Juliane Köhler (above) from films such as Aimee & Jaguar, The Downfall or Nowhere in Africa.
Katharina Thalbach is quite popular for her many theater roles here in Berlin. She has also been in a lot of movies, for example The Tin Drum and Sun Alley, to name only a few.
Anna Thalbach has also been in The Downfall, as well as FearDotCom and Maria an Callas. She has also played a lot of Tatort episodes and can be seen in this year’s movie Krabat with Daniel Brühl and Robert Stadlober.
Here is a video I recorded above the heads of the second row. Towards the middle you can see Hana Nitsche from last year’s season of Germany’s Next Topmodel with a quite funky outfit running a dog over the catwalk.
At the fashion show I met up with my charming fashion blog colleagues Lisa from Lalila (left) and Jessie and Julia from LesMads (right), which was quite a pleasure. After the show the girls of LesMads headed off to the New Faces Award where they met Kostja Ullman, Sarah Kuttner and other people you might have heard about. You can read all about it here.
