Multifunction is the new black. After presenting you t-shirts and garments which can be turned inside out, it is now time of transformable shoes. The Munich based label Nat-2 is making a new trend with their creative idea! Every model can changed from a sneaker to a flip-flop, thanks to the zipper at the bottom. It would be nice if they would just replace the inexpressibly ugly Crocs from the Italian beaches…
Back to reality: there is no store in Berlin that carries them, yet. What a pity! But a few of our beloved shops would be a perfect fit for these shoes. But don’t worry, they promised to have an online shop up and running on July 12.
I like some of them, like the black threesome. Also the white model with the bling bling is adorable, even if it reminds me of the Onitsuka Tiger design model Omatsuri. Some models are just too much for my taste and should only be worn with a really basic outfit.
The shoes are all handmade and I think very affordable. The basic collection is between 69-99 EUR and the premium-collection between 120-250 EUR.
There are a lot of German labels at the moment that go the multifunction way. I ask myself if it has to do with the German’s consuming behavior. In a way it seems a product really needs to have a lot of functions to be worth the money. What you think?
All in all it’s a very good idea and their little video clip is also very cute. I hope that some shop owners in Berlin will discover them soon! That would be highly appreciated.
