The design blog Decor8 and the Berlin based online shop DaWanda have put their heads together to prepare a workshop about creating, designing and blogging which I think some of you might be interested in. There will be talks by international designers and bloggers, a workshop about printing by Smil, lots of Cupcakes and much more. Read on to learn more.

On 20th September in Berlin we will have
a special workshop called “Make it! Shop it! Blog it!” for artists and
designers to come and listen to the wise words and advice from guest
speakers all about how you can realise the potential to build your
business through blogging. Holly Becker from decor8
(http://www.decor8blog.com/) will be speaking, sharing her experience as a
design blogger, a contributor for major design publications such as
Domino magazine, and her wonderful ideas – and let me tell you, they
are certainly wonderful! It was Holly’s idea to organise this event
with DaWanda and I couldn’t have done it without her help and ideas
along the way. When Holly is finished her talk she will also stay to
answer any questions you may have for her about blogging and how you
can use your blog to maximise your potential business as an artist or
designer.
We will have a break for Kaffee & Kuchen and then our second special
guest speaker on the day is Luziapimpinella, a DaWanda shop based in
Germany which is not only a very successful DaWanda shop, but a blog
too! Nicole is the lady behind Luziapimpinella and she will be sharing
her experience as an artist who blogs and how she makes it work!
And we couldn’t let you go away without getting your hands dirty
aswell! We will also have a screenprinting demonstration from Smil and
Bloodbunny! This gang will share screenprinting tips with you and help
you to print something of your very own! Materials will be provided,
but it is on a first come first served basis.
Please note that this event is bilingual! Holly will be speaking in
English and Nicole will be speaking in German. We will not have a
translator.

Make it! Shop it! Blog it! is a free entry event, and we will have
plenty of kaffee & kuchen (cupcakes from Cupcake
(http://www.cupcakeberlin.de/) to be exact!) for everyone too.
