Fashion Week Shows: Beck’s Fashion Experience

Ann Eckers at Beck’s Fashion Experience

Last night was a big night for a handful of young designers that were amongst the 7 finalists of the Beck’s Fashion Experience. In a heavily branded surrounding they proudly presented their sponsored collections on the runway. My absolute favorite was Ann Eckers with her stunning knit designs, that you can see above. And that not only because most of the models were half naked. It was fun to see that some of here pieces were grown up versions of her kid’s collection that she graduted with in Antwerp last year (see a comparison after the jump). More photos and impressions after the beep.

The show took place at the new WMF location at the former Fernmeldeamt at Klosterstrasse in Mitte. Although the WMF already hosted two parties here, the fashion show was my first visit to the new address of the legendary club. Sadly, I was not really psyched about the place, so for future parties it’s gonna be all about the line-up I guess.
