The Ultimate Easter Party Guide

Miss Kittin and The Hacker

Miss Kittin & The Hacker

While our party expert Suz is enjoying a sunny vacation on a far away island the rest of the iHeartBerlin.de team is preparing for a massive party weekend. While you will have to search for your Easter eggs on your own, this little event guide will be of assistance to find the right party.

Celebrations will start pretty early today around 16h with ZMF in exile at Lutz Friedrich at Mauerpark. The afternoon begins with a family friendly program with food, bonfire and easter egg searching. Around 18h the DJs will start playing from dusk till down.

We’ve seen them last year at Melt! and now they’re back with their new album Two: Miss Kittin & The Hacker. With their pulsating synthie-pop hymns and shouting vocals they will set the Lido on fire at 22h.

More events for today and the rest of the weekend as well as the flyers after the jump.

After the concert at Lido you should head over to the next musical highlight, Tiga‘s record release party at Weekend. We usually avoid this place, but I think it’s safe on a Thursday and we’ll also make an exception for Tiga to hear his new album Ciao! World. You can win tickets for this over at sonett77.

If Weekend is not your style then there’s always Scala who invited the Acidkidz and the Partyharders over tonight.

Friday

Friday night starts rather classy with a fancy drink at the Boheme Sauvage Cocktail Soiree at Reingold. As this is a very popular event you should make sure to get a reservation by writing to cocktail@boheme-sauvage.de.

Fancy it will go on at Bar Tausend with a special live set by Eric D. Clark. The you should hop on to Tape for the Drumpoet Community label night.

Our special tip for Friday night goes to the newest club kid in town: Horst Krzbrg. He just opened his doors a month ago and I’m hearing good things about him. On Friday he’ll give you the opportunity to Escape From Berlin. We’ll definitely check him out.

And if you’re looking for some cute boys you should drop by the Handsome Party at Lorely (former Kinzo). If the name is any indicator then you should find some there.

Saturday

The Saturday is dedicated to the one year anniversary of Scala. Wow, has it really just been one year? It seems like it’s been there much longer. We’ve been there so often now and it really has a place very close to our heart. Keep up! And happy birthday.

Alternatively, or additionally if you like, we could also offer the Dirty Canvas and Killekill party at Villa. Or/and another night with Horst at the Feinschmeckernacht.

Sunday

If you’re not spending Easter Sunday afternoon with your family you’re welcome to the Sunday Seance at .HBC with the dynamic Macaronic Duo. This also serves as a nice warm up for the Spring Love party at Scala with the Sick Girls.

If you’re up for something more intimate you should climb up to the fifth floor of Tacheles for the debut concert of Molly Nilsson’s new synth pop band Dark Skies Association and the handsome Joey Hansom at the decks.

Next Week

For those who like to plan their parties well ahead you might be intersted in hearing that there’s going to be another Secret Location Party on Arpil 18th. The last one during Fashion Week was at Dice Club. Is it going to be there again? Join this Facebook Group to find out.
