Life is not always a party. And although it might seem that we move from one party to another, we sometimes just need a break. So, I’m totally looking forward to next Friday’s concert of Alony at Babylon Mitte. A friend of mine introduced me to this interesting Berlin-based Jazz band that will celebrate the release of their new record Dismantling Dreams with this concert. Efrat Alony’s sensual deep Jazz voice is really remarkable and the electronically infused Jazz music reminds me a lot of Björk’s Vespertine era. Listening to some of her live recordings already gives me the impression that this will go deep under your skin. See and hear for yourself after the jump.
