Shades re-loaded

11null Shades

Shopping for sunglasses gives me a headache. First of all, find a pair out of hundreds that look okay in my face (yes, I have one of those faces that doesn’t go well with hats and shades). Of course the ones that look best are the most expensive ones. As a consequence I will hardly ever wear them because I’m a) afraid to break them and b) afraid to loose them.

My amazement was big when I was introduced to the shades of Berlin-based label 11null. A thin layer of dark foil, rolled up in a little film can, that seemlessly wraps around your face. The design is quite simple, the look is classical, the protection is superb and the price is low. How much more do you need?

Win 2 of these clever shades and find out more about them after the jump.

The shape is classical and works both for boys and girls. As simple as the concept and design of these shades is, as effective is their functionality: The material comes from a medical background so it protects you better than any other pair of sun glasses. The fit is surprisingly good and even if you shake your head they won’t come off. What I like about it is the minimal contact to the skin, so you won’t get these nasty dents on the sides of your nose.
