Here is the weekend’s party programme for those of you who have been waiting for it like a cat on hot bricks. If you think about going to Scala, be prepared for some body to body action with strangers, because last Saturday it has been so crowded, people told me they thought they’d get mashed like a banana. This is probably because the news of Scala’s closing has now reached all of you and it seems every single person now wants to go there. Even those who will go there for the first time are later gonna say that they went to Scala every weekend and Scala will be a myth like the Rio already is.
On Friday another very French Disco Mystix party is up. After a successful night with really good music at Picknick, this time it’s getting mystical at Scala with Heartbreak live and Les Titz Grands also live and Emil doesn’t drive, Total Eclipse of the heart and more more more. Oh, there is a dresscode, look at the flyer to read more about it. Before the party you should go and visit the Scala gallery from 7 pm and get some art, you philistine! More parties after the jump.
Friday
For indie and trash disco music go to Cccp at Torstraße, where the Foxy Boxer Dj Team is gonna play tonight.
Free chicken for all of you! Unfortunately vegetarians are left out again. Dante Fried Chicken at Villa on Friday with the Awesome Dj Team and a huge line up as usual. Next time perhaps fried tofu??
Saturday
After a rather subdued line up during the last weeks, Picknick offers you a Saturday night with taraaaa: Dj Hell! The mature gigolo from Munich is in town, expecting the disrespectful Berlin party crowd to make a bow. Poor Rampa and others like Lemercier will have to compete with Hell, but perhaps it will be the other way around…all power to the (local) youth I say!
The new party Smash & Boom hosted by Giampiero (HipHopDon’t Stop) and Alex brings electronic and funky sounds to the new venue Tube Club (Station) with Chinese Dj Champion Dj Wordy and Mr. Thomsen on Saturday night. If the spinning of Wordy heats you up too much, you can cool down in the cosy outside area of Tube.
At Scala we’ll have a rather mixed thing going on: Yum Yum with Schowi and Chrome downstairs and Endlich 18 with crazy Nomad and smooth Kolmer upstairs.
And for those Boys who will be (preferably with other) Boys you can look forward to another Bouncing Boys party at VCF with Malk live.
