The Showroom Picks

During Fashion Week there was one thing we didn’t find the time for: the showrooms. It’s quite a shame, though, as very often they have the most interesting stuff. Luckily, the Temporary Showroom exemplary uploaded all the lookbooks of the summer 2010 collections they had on display so I can catch up now digitally.

They have a strong focus on menswear and once again I found the collections of Finish label Dusty and Swedish label Odeur the most convincing. Both of them have stayed true to their style while bringing new colors and textures into their collection. While Dusty’s fall collection was all about ropes the summer collection now adds fringes to the designs.

Odeur always has one splash of color in their otherwise black or white pieces. This summer it was a fresh yellow, coming fall it will be pink and next summer it is a cool light blue. More examples of both label’s summer 2010 collections after the jump.
