You gotta have suicidal tendencies or take the victim part in fashion victim very seriously – riding a fixed-gear bike is an art in itself. But nevertheless, fixed-gear riders are a growing presence on the streets of Berlin. Perceived as smelly bums who happen to ride bikes by some or simply admired for their style, they certainly are the subject of curiosity.

This friday you can see what happens when people take their love for bikes to the next level: Fixed City is a documentary on fixed-gear bike culture in Germany and is premiering at Kinobar Sputnik in Kreuzberg. More details and trailer after the click.
