If you could put somebody on the cover of the young talented German theater scene it would most definetly be the Berlin-based director team Rimini-Protokoll. Since I’ve always been late to write something about them I will now announce the upcoming piece of one member of this interesting group. Stefan Kaegis’ new piece Heuschrecken (grasshopper) has a lot of sweet little monsters living on stage. His Ökutopia not only reproduces the human fear about closed systems but also shows the power of the will of survival of this horrofying species. Be sure that there will be more than just some shock-moments and be prepared for some seriuos thoughts about upcoming apocalypses. More pictures and informations after the jump.
