My Name Is Claude
Not only expats know and like the Exberliner magazine, that feeds you with information around Berlin-and no German knowledge is required. Basically like us, but of course, we are more wicked. Since a while the Exberliner mag has a music night called Wednesdays at Kaffe Burger and by introducing you this weird institution of Berlin nightlife, that hosts a promising music night this week, I indeed kill two birds with one stone. Kaffee Burger is a place that is mostly visited by friends who are screwed and have bad taste. You’ll get into a situation where they grab you and bring you to this place at 7 in the morning. Surprisingly other lost souls frequent this club/bar regularly and Mitte wouldn’t be Mitte if it wasn’t there. Like this shabby dressed uncle you avoid being seein with in public but who always gives a decent drinking companion.
Susanna Berivan
The Exberliner guys have chosen exactly this place to host a music night. This Wednesday with Paris Suit Yourself, the crazy guys from the States and France with a very yummie leadsinger, furthermore soul and blues by Susanna Berivan and My Name is Claude, the dark angel with a voice and a sound very likely to send shivers down your spine. This Wednesday, 5 Euros, at 9 p.m.
